Lemon paper fish

Fish is a very nutritious food, rich in protein, vitamins and minerals. It also has many health benefits required for healthy body and mind.

Ingredients :-


  • 8 pieces of fish
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  •  1 large polythene bag
  • oil to bake
  • lemon grass to decorate


For sauce:

  • 2 tablespoon cornflour
  •  salt to taste
  • 1 tsp sauce
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  •  2 table spoon crushed green black pepper
  •  1 table spoon lemon grass
  •  1 cup water

How to make lemon paper fish:-



  1. Place the pieces of fish in the lemon juice and salt for 15-20 minutes and keep it for marinAte.
  2.  Wash again and dry with clean cloth and dry. 
  3. Now add flour, salt and black pepper to the polythene bag and stir well so that the flour can clamify in pieces. 
  4. Exfoliate and flip extra flour from the pieces of fish.
  5.  Now heat the oil in the frying pan and cook the fish for two minutes by speeding the pan.
  6.  Then sharpen the flame and turn the pieces of fish over. Then slow heat and cook again for two minutes. 
  7. Keep in mind that the pieces do not over cooked.
  8. Cook the pieces well on all sides.
  9. When the fish are cooking , in the meantime, mix all the ingredients of sauce on the second burner and keep it cooked.
  10. when Sauce  boil, slow the flame and run for one minute. 
  11. Now take out the pieces of fish from the flame and press them with a paper napkin. So that excess oils can be removed. Then put it in the serving dish and put hot sauce on it and serve it with lemon grass.

Ingredients for fishball:-

  • 500 grams of white fish
  • 1 teaspoon fish sauce
  • 2 teaspoons green chili paste
  • 1 cup green coriander finely chopped
  • Oil
  • Salt to taste.

Step by step fish ball preparation and recipe

1.    Cut the fish in small pieces.
2.    Grind it into a food processor and make a paste.
3.    Mix green pepper paste, fish sauce and salt.
4.    Keep adding this mixture to 30 seconds.
5.    Put the mixture in a bowl and mix the coriander in it.
6.    Now make small balls of it and put them in the fridge so that they get frozen.
7.    Now fry them in oil.
8.    Serve with Chutney or sauce.

  The fishball can be refrigerated in airtight packs and can be store up to a week.

  • Chili powder-1 1/2 tsp
  • Besan-1 tsp
  • Oil-2 tsp
  • salt-as per taste

How to make Hyderabadi Fish Fry:-

  1. Mix together- (garlic paste, coriander powder, chili powder, poppy seeds, turmeric and salt) to make a smooth paste.
  2. Apply the mixted paste on drained fish pieces and marinate for 30 minutes.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and fry sliced onion till crisp. keep this aside.
  4. dip the fish pieces in besan batter and fry the fish pieces till crisp and golden brown in colour.
  5. garnish with fried onions and lemon juice.

Fish fry recipe

INGREDIENTS:

5 to 6 pieces - fish
2 tsp - Red Chilli powder
1/2 tsp - coriander powder
1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder
1 tsp - Lime juice
Salt to taste
Oil to deep fry

How to make fish fry:

1.Clean fish and wash it twice to thrice. Set aside.
2.In a wide mixing bowl, add red chilli, turmeric powder, coriander powder, lime juice and required salt. Sprinkle a little water to make a paste-like consistency.
3.Then add the fish and mix well.
4.Coat the masala on all sides of the fish and marinate for at least 30 mins.
5.Heat oil in a pan and fry the fish until the fish turns dark brown in colour.
6.serve with spring onion and chutney.
